Seasalter Cross WI 2011 Programme

March

Meeting : Tueday 15th at 7.45pm : "Chocolution in Dover" Kieran Renihan is a chocolatire and will be sharing the most important and best kept secret about our favourite food. There will also be a decorated Egg Competition.
Social : Tuesday 1st at 7pm
Other events : Group Meeting in the evening of 30th March (Limited tickets)

April

Meeting : Tuesday 19th at 7.45pm : Mary McNulty will be giving a talk and slide show on the Globe Theatre. Mary worked as an actor and director before being drawn into the Globe Project.
Social : Tuesday 5th at 7pm
Other events : Saturday 9th - Proposed Dabble Day

May

Meeting : Tuesday 17th at 7.45pm : Update on our chosen Resolution followed by fun quizzes and a bring-and-buy plant and cake stall. We are also having a flower competition, Theme : "The most beautiful rose from your garden".
Social : Tuesday 3rd at 7pm
Other events : Friday 20th - Proprosed trip to Mount Ephraim Gardens for Afternoon Tea

June

Meeting : Tuesday 21st at 7.45pm : A chance to join in and learn how to draw cartoons with David Chisholm who is a cartoonist from the Sunday Times.
Social : Tuesday 7th at 7pm
Oher events : Barn  Dance - date to be confirmed

July

Meeting : Tuesday 19th July at 7.45pm : Chris Wade will be giving us a talk on "Smugglers of Kent". Chris has interests in photography and natural and local history.
Social : Tuesday 5th July at 7pm
Other events : Trip to hear the Royal Marine at Deal on Sunday 10th July - Not confirmed

August

PARTY!! : WEDNESDAY 17th August. We will be 40 this year! We will be celebrating this with a boat trip. More details to follow. Lets hope the weather is fine!
Social ; Tuesday 2nd August at 7pm

September

Meeting : Tuesday 20th September at 7.45pm. An expert from Brogdale Farm will be giving a talk on thier National Fruit Collection and the different varieties of fruit they grow. He will be bringing samples too.
Social : Tuesday 6th September at 7pm
Other events : Tuesday 13th September : Group Meeting evening (limited tickets). Saturday 17th September - Proposed Harvest supper

October

Meeting : 18th October at 7.45pm : Annual General Meeting "Vote for your New Committee". We will finish this evening with a table quiz and, to keep your strength up, home made soup with bread.
Social : Tuesday 4th October at 7pm

November

Meeting : Tuesday 16th November at 7.45pm. Mr Newcombe will be giving us an insight into "Food for free and Herbs that heal".
Social : Tuesday 1st November at 7pm

December

Meeting : Tuesday 13th December at 7.45pm. Meeting followed by Christmas Quiz and Mince Pies
